Double Arch Selzer

This chest design with double arched panel is attributed to Christian Selzer of Jonestown, PA, circa 1789 – 1831.  Chests constructed and painted by Christian Selzer, his son John, and John and Peter Rank, of the "Jonestown School" are some of the very few signed by the artist.  (Original in Metropolitan Museum of Art, NYC.)
